Our backyard reveal: Creating a beautiful & livable space we love
the perfect patio season backdrop
When we first moved into our home after building, we went with affordable options for outdoor furniture. We wanted to have the space furnished enough for us to enjoy without investing in high-end pieces just yet. After using the same pieces for a few years now, it was time for a refresh, and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
Similar to the areas within our home, I turned to Wayfair first! With beautiful styles, high-quality materials, varying price points, and fast and oftentimes free shipping, it is always my go-to! I knew going into patio season this year that I wanted to replace our pool loungers as well as our fireplace patio furniture.
I had been eyeing a beautiful, woven-wicker upholstered sun lounger from a high-end designer for months. I absolutely loved everything about them, except for the price point. After researching, I came across these gorgeous Emma loungers from Wayfair! They came fully assembled, and they’re made with a sturdy metal frame, warm handwoven rattan detailing, and a beautiful, breathable cushioning. The back adjusts on five different levels, allowing you to sit up fully or lie down fully. The best part? These look identical to the designer version I was eyeing, but they’re much more affordable. I styled these near our pool with my favorite umbrella stand tables and patio umbrellas—both from Wayfair, too, and both favorites we have loved for years.

After adding these gorgeous loungers to our pool patio, I knew I wanted to update our patio furniture around our outdoor fireplace to create an all-around elevated look and feel. I had been eyeing this 4-piece Samya set from Wayfair for quite some time, and finally grabbed it last month while on sale. It is sold as a set as well as individually, and it’s one of the top-selling patio collections at Wayfair. I grabbed the beige color, and it’s the prettiest light neutral that still conceals any outdoor messes or debris.
The set is crafted from beautiful eucalyptus wood, offering a natural, warm touch. The cushions are comfortable and allow you to fully sink in, and they are made from all-weather foam and high-performing olefin fabric. This set does require assembly, but my husband and I were able to tackle it quickly and had no problems.

With these new additions in place, our backyard finally feels complete! I love that we have three main living areas—covered patio, outdoor fireplace patio, and poolside—for our family and friends to enjoy alongside us.
