Our living room is feeling so light and bright thanks to a few updates I have been loving!

I added some fresh pillow covers from my favorite family owned company to our Crate and Barrel sectional, and it looks so bright and fresh! They make mixing and matching patterns so fun and easy, and the quality never disappoints! I recommend using these affordable down pillow inserts (choppable and don’t lose feathers) and size up one from whatever size cover you are using for a designer look (example use a 24” insert for a 22” cover).

We also lightened up the curtains in our living and dining room using my favorite custom pinch pleat curtains in the color Sand Beige. Pinch pleat curtains can get very heavy (especially when lined), and my husband and I always recommend using this rod. Trust me, we have kissed a few frogs to learn that this one always works, and it is worth paying a little more for!

Finally, I refreshed our coffee table styling with some beautiful pieces from McGee and Co. Styling a round coffee table can be tricky, but I love anchoring styling pieces with coffee table books and trays, it makes everything look pulled together and intentional.

One of my most requested links is for our living room rug, this is the one we chose! It is a printed rug but it is SO beautiful, and very forgiving if you have kids and pets! I get so many compliments on this one!
